FXR Script is built exclusively for FX Replay's backtesting environment and focuses on indicator creation for the manual trading context. FXR Script integrates directly with FX Replay's replay engine, meaning your custom indicators update in real time as you replay historical sessions — something Pine Script cannot do inside FX Replay's native backtesting workflow.

Some basic programming familiarity helps, but FXR Script is intentionally simpler than general-purpose languages.
